The Commonwealth Games Day at St Mary's

On Tuesday the St Mary's School Council organised a commonwealth games day. 20 pre organised teams competed in 5 events including stilts, scoops, soccer/hockey skills, tennis ball shot putt and sprints. The teams where all countries people may not have heard of to encourage them to find out more. It was a great success and everybody had a lot of fun. In the morning they got together and made flags for the country they were representing and in the afternoon they competed in the events. There was also a small opening ceremony where the Queen declared the event officially open.

The Kiwi Kids Quiz

Every morning we get to explore Kiwi kids news. It tells us about about current events national and international. There is a section on odd stuff that people do. Every Friday we do a Quiz in our house groups and the pressure is on. Room 3 isn't good at whispering!
These are just some of the questions. Do you know the answer?
