Castle Construction

This term our Inquiry has been about different types of architecture. Yesterday we split into groups and started creating castles out of card. We had to measure the pieces correctly and cut them out.  We had to use problem solving skills for making sure they were the same size, battlements needed to be included and the placements of tabs.  

Rosary

This is month of the Rosary.  We created our own class set of Rosary Beads.

We have been trying a new system of reading this term. 

This is the Nelson literacy Directions box and it has a rage of books like e.g Visual Arts In Focus and Social Media: News or not?

Frisbee with Grant

Every Monday Grant comes to St. Mary's School to teach us how to use a frisbee and how to control it. Last week we played games. Grant said that if the frisbee is straight it is going to go straight and if it is not it is going to go all over the place. All of us are very grateful that Grant is coming in every Monday

Our intermediate open evening

Our Intermediate Open Evening was a great success. We thank all Parents and Year 6 Students who attended the evening. We had great comments from the parents with students from other primary schools. Thanks to all students for their hard work and the way they presented the classrooms.
